Book Bites: What I’m Reading Right Now (July 3, 2017)

bookbitesreadingrightnowWelcome to Book Bites, where you get a glimpse into my reading life! Here I chronicle what I’ve finished (and what you can expect reviews on soon!), what I’m reading right now, and what I’m reading next.

Happy (early) 4th of July! I love this holiday, not in part because it’s just a couple of days before my birthday. I think we’ll spend this holiday on the boat with the pups – Olga has a life jacket now, so she can swim without me worrying she’ll drown. Maybe a barbecue later, maybe a game night. Whatever you’re doing tomorrow, I hope you enjoy yourselves!

On the What I’m Reading Right Now front, I’m working through American Gods, and I have a couple of blog tours coming up. I’m still sort of struggling with my reading slump, but I think it’s more that I don’t have the energy to start a book at this point. Does that make sense?

We also got new appliances this weekend. I’m SOOOO excited to have a functioning dishwasher, and a fridge that’s not from the stone age. Though it was a good fridge, and still doing just fine after 20 years. They certainly don’t make appliances like they used to.
