Welcome to Book Bites, where you get a glimpse into my reading life! Here I chronicle what I’ve finished (and what you can expect reviews on soon!), what I’m reading right now, and what I’m reading next.
It was a slow week for me reading-wise. I spent a lot of time working on the launch of my new site (you’re here now!!) and studying for my Project Management certification. I’m testing around 70% at the moment, with a few weeks left before the exam, so it’s crunch time. I was lucky to get our Book Club book read!
I finished 2 books this week, and made slow progress on 4 others. Reviews for The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry and Winter at the Dog & Duck should be up soon. I’m running about 3 weeks behind on reviews right now!
I’m still working on Gone With the Wind and The Bear and the Nightingale, slowly but surely, and I’ve got Strange the Dreamer I want to get to. My library loan for Salt to the Sea expired again, and I still haven’t made it more than a couple pages in Difficult Women, but that’s on my to-do list this week. Otherwise my Next Up stash hasn’t changed too much, though it’s about to – I’ve got a handful of blog tours on deck.
And, in case you missed the announcement, I’m now She’s All Booked! Sorry for any confusion in the switch from Fearless Creative, and hopefully everyone is still subscribed to posts. There’s a bit of a learning curve with WordPress, so bear with me! I’ll get it sorted out sooner or later!
