I hate the phrase “New Year’s Resolutions.” To me, it sets up an unrealistic expectation that pretty much leads to failure. I come up with these great ideas, and then three days in, I’ve already messed up. Then I feel like crap, and I give up, and that doesn’t really get me anywhere. So instead, I’ve started focusing on year-long goals. Maybe it’s the same thing as a resolution, and it’s all semantics. Whatever. Calling them goals makes me feel better.
And because sharing goals with others makes me accountable, you, dear readers, get to see them. Aren’t you excited? I sure am! I’ve even tried to make them pretty for you. (I take no credit for any of these pictures. Most of them came from Pinterest.)
Those are the big ones. What are your 2014 goals?
