Product Review: InstaNatural

I recently had the opportunity to try not one, not two, but three products from InstaNatural, a beauty company based in Florida that prides themselves on using natural and organic ingredients. Everything is made in small batches, and comes with a lifetime guarantee. They don’t test on animals, and none of their products have alcohol, parabens, or sulfates. I was super excited to try them, and they were generous enough to send me their Argan Oil Hair Mask, Dead Sea Mud Mask, and Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Ready for the reviews?

InstaNatural’s Argan Oil Hair Mask is a deep conditioning treatment designed to transform dry and damaged strands into soft, shiny, healthy hair. Its restorative ingredients – such as Argan Oil, Japanese Green Tea, Amino Acid Complex, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil & Vitamin B5 – work together to penetrate hair deep down and deliver ultimate nourishment and hydration to enhance texture and shine. This intensive blend full of organic ingredients also serves to strengthen hair to defend against heat damage and other external aggressors.

  • Deeply conditions, strengthens and restores hair
  • Provides superior hydration and nourishment
  • Can be used daily as a standard conditioner
  • Turns hair from lifeless and damaged to luxurious and voluminous
  • Increases shine, softness and manageability

I LOVE this product. Love it. For one thing, it smells like….I don’t know. Like pudding. Or dessert. Or something decadent. It smells SO FREAKIN’ GOOD I WANT TO EAT IT. It’s super thick, super creamy, but doesn’t feel gross or goopy when you put it on your hair.

I should admit that the directions say to use this mask on damp clean hair. We all know I’m lazy. I use it on dry dirty hair, because I don’t want to wait around in the shower. That said, it still works. My hair is so much shinier, so much softer when I use this. It’s not voluminous, but that’s probably because I’m putting it all over my entire head – my fine hair doesn’t do well with conditioner of any kind on the roots. Regardless, this product has saved my hair this winter.

The tub is huge….no joke, I’m probably going to have this for a year. Knowing that, I’m easily going to tell you that the $18 price tag is worth it. (Even if it was a smaller tub, it’d still be worth it.)

InstaNatural’s Dead Sea Mud Mask is an all-natural detoxifier and purifier that comes from the renowned and sacred Dead Sea. More than a million visitors each year flock to this extraordinary body of water in the Mediterranean, which contains many minerals beneficial to the skin, such as magnesium, sodium, bromine, potassium and calcium. Once applied, this mud mask treatment starts working to absorb excess oil, dirt and toxins from the skin. It is great to expunge acne, pimples and blackheads. It also helps to restore an even skin tone for a smoother complexion. When used as a body treatment, the mud mask can soothe and relieve muscles aches and pains. Whether used on the face or the body, our Dead Sea Mud Mask is a superb in-home spa treatment that will reveal more vibrant, refined, healthier skin.

I’ve been a fan of mud masks since college, when I first experienced their tightening-yet-smoothing effect. Unfortunately, a lot of masks irritate my skin, which seems to be crankier than ever these days. I was hopeful, but realistic about this mask – I wasn’t expecting a miracle mask.

I’m telling you, InstaNatural doesn’t skimp on product. Like the argan mask, this tub is huge.

Can we pause right here and discuss how arbitrary skin mask instructions are? “Apply a thin layer” – well just what exactly is a thin layer??? Because I think it’s thin, but then I see pictures and those people definitely don’t have thin layers. So confusing.

Anyway, I just put enough on to cover my face.

I do really like this mask. It’s gentle, though after 15 minutes I’m definitely ready to wash it off. My skin feels smoother and looks brighter after using this. I still haven’t tried it more often than once every couple of weeks, so I don’t think I’m seeing quite as much benefit as I would otherwise. But, it’s a pretty good mud mask, and will last me a while. It’s $25, which might be a little high if the tub weren’t large enough to put a guinea pig in.

InstaNatural’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains Hyaluronic Acid along with a perfect blend of antioxidants such as Vitamin C + Jojoba Oil + Green Tea. With a capacity to sustain up to a 1,000 times its weight in water, Hyaluronic Acid is a great natural hydrator by helping the skin to retain moisture.

  • Provides hydration to soothe dry and flaky skin
  • Does not contain alcohol or parabens
  • Enriched with Vitamin C, Green Tea and Aloe for a boost in antioxidants
  • Helps tackle signs of aging by increasing firmness and strength of skin

When InstaNatural asked if I wanted to try their Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I almost said no. I’d just tried that other one, that left my skin feeling abused and horrible. But when I looked at the ingredients, I decided to give it a try. I liked that it didn’t have alcohol (the other one did), plus I know my skin does well with green tea, aloe, and witch hazel, which are all in InstaNatural’s serum.

I’m so, so, SO glad I tried this.

The first time I used this I could immediately tell a difference. For one thing, my skin felt hydrated instead of chapped and stripped and dried. And my makeup went on smoother. The longer I’ve used it, the more of a difference I can see in my skin. It looks more hydrated and firm. This is a keeper for sure – and in case you’re wondering, I’ve used it in conjunction with both moisturizer and argan oil, and it does great with both.

Final Verdict: It’s safe to say InstaNatural has found another fan….products that work, have good ingredients, and are at a good price!

I received these products free in exchange for my honest review.
